Our Programs & InitiativesFirst Flow & Dignity Kit Initiative The First Flow & Dignity Kit is Eco Pure Flow’s flagship program providing eco-friendly menstrual care kits to women and girls in underserved communities across Chicago and surrounding areas. Each kit includes: • Organic cotton sanitary pads and panty liners • Biodegradable disposal bags • Educational materials on menstrual health and hygiene • Empowerment messages promoting confidence and self-care These kits are distributed through schools, shelters, and community clinics to ensure equitable access to safe, sustainable period care. Goal: Distribute 5,000 eco-friendly kits by 2026 while expanding into neighboring Illinois counties. ________________________________________ Community Education & Outreach Our education and outreach initiative focuses on breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation and promoting sustainable health practices. We host: • Menstrual wellness workshops for teens and adults • Donation drives and community events to increase access • School and hospital partnerships to deliver health education and resources Through these programs, Eco Pure Flow aims to build understanding, confidence, and community support around menstrual health — empowering women and girls to thrive without shame or limitation. Goal: Conduct 10 community workshops annually and reach over 1,000 women and girls each year through education and advocacy. 🌍 Environmental Sustainability & Advocacy Eco Pure Flow is committed to protecting both people and the planet. Through our Environmental Sustainability & Advocacy initiative, we promote eco-conscious menstrual care by reducing plastic waste and supporting sustainable manufacturing practices. We educate communities on the environmental impact of conventional menstrual products and encourage the adoption of organic, biodegradable alternatives. Our advocacy efforts focus on inspiring systemic change by engaging schools, healthcare providers, and policymakers to support greener menstrual solutions. In addition, we collaborate with environmental partners to explore recycling and composting programs for menstrual waste and to ensure our packaging and materials remain 100% eco-friendly. Goal: Reduce non-biodegradable menstrual waste by 25% across participating communities by 2026, while building public awareness around sustainable menstrual health practices.
